Description
The flat Foretrex 401 GPS Navigator is attached to the wrist. It is so ideally suited for outdoor activities where you need to have both hands free. The Foretrex 401 has a waterproof GPS receiver with high sensitivity, an electronic compass and a barometric altimeter. With the integrated ANT + interface data can be transferred wirelessly to other devices as well as the heart rate can be displayed by the chest strap. This light device is ideal for hikers, skiers, campers and military use. For data exchange with a PC connect the Foretrex simply via USB to your computer.
With TracBack ®
No matter where your adventure takes you, with the Foretrex 401 you certainly won't get lost. The Foretrex remembers the traveled way and shows it as dotted lines on the screen. Simply activate the TracBack ® feature of the Foretrex, and you can retrace your steps to the starting point. Keep track of your bearing and altitude with the electronic compass and the barometric altimeter of the Foretrex 401. Save certain positions as waypoints so that you can find your way back at any time to an important place, for example to your tent or your vehicle. Thanks to a battery life of up to 17 hours and AAA replacement batteries you are directed safely on your way back home.
All data at a glance
With the Foretrex 401 you can create routes to all your favourite places. The device offers useful information for navigation, including a trip computer, times for sunrise and sunset as well as hunting and fishing information. To get even more data, you can connect the Foretrex 401 with a wireless accessory, such as a heart or a cadence sensor. You can also wirelessly transfer and receive waypoints, routes and tracks to other Foretrex 401 and other compatible devices. For an overview about your tour you only have to connect the Foretrex via USB to your PC or Mac. Then, you can save waypoints, routes and tracks on your computer.
