Our muscles are an important part of our body. We can divide the muscles into three groups:
- Skeletal Muscles: These muscle parts are also known as striated muscles. They can be operated consciously. Most striated muscles are attached to the skeleton and are responsible for active movement.
- Organ Musculature: Also known as smooth muscle. Unlike the skeletal muscles, they do not appear striped but smooth. - Heart Muscles: The heart is a muscle of its own, which is a special striated muscle.
