Description
These whole green mung beans are characterised by their versatility in Ayurvedic cuisine. The whole beans (with skin) retain their shape during cooking and offer a firm texture for salads or stews. They can also be used to grow fresh sprouts. Sourced from controlled organic cultivation, this is a high-fibre base for a mindful diet.
Preparation:
Wash 250 g of the mung beans and soak in plenty of water for approximately 12 hours. Drain the water and bring to the boil with 750 ml fresh water (lightly salted if desired) and cook for approximately 10–15 minutes. Season to taste.
