Description
The Maqui tree (Aristotelia chilensis) grows in Patagonia and has intensely flavourful fruit. The fruit is used to make this powder.
- The tree reaches a height of approximately 4 to 5 metres
- At the end of spring, white, small flowers adorn the thin, flexible branches of the tree. Four to six-millimetre berries develop from the flowers
- The berries are dark red
- Taste like blueberries
Processing:
- The berries, which come from controlled cultivation, are freeze-dried and then gently ground. They are 100% pure.
