CODE VITAL Pure Fibre Blend, 250 g

This 100% water-soluble fibre blend was developed in collaboration with the renowned microbiome research centre Institut AllergoSan. As a food for special medical purposes or FSMP (supplementary balanced diet), this powder is intended for the dietary management of digestive disorders such as constipation and diarrhoea.

For constipation: The special fibres it contains have a high water-binding capacity. They bind fluid in the intestine, helping to soften stool consistency and increase stool volume.

For diarrhoea: Due to their strong swelling properties, these fibres can absorb excess free fluid in the intestine. This contributes to the dietary thickening of liquid stool.

Utilisation in the intestine: The fibre blend is designed so that some of its ingredients are fermented by the intestinal flora in the large intestine, where they serve as a nutrient substrate. The unfermented portion helps add bulk and contributes to the necessary stool volume.

Recommended intake:

• Take 1 level measuring spoon, 5 g, twice daily, morning and evening.
• If required, intake can be increased by 1 measuring spoon each week, up to a maximum of 5 measuring spoons per day.

Preparation:
Mix 1 level measuring spoon, 5 g, with approx. 200 ml liquid and stir until the powder has completely dissolved and the liquid is clear.

The powder can be stirred into drinks, soups or yoghurt without changing taste or texture.
